No Evidence of Extraterrestrial Activity Despite Rising UFO Reports, Says US Defense Department
The US Defense Department has reported a significant increase in UFO sightings, while asserting there is no evidence of extraterrestrial activity.
An unclassified report from the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), released Thursday, highlighted 485 new unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) reports from May 2023 to June 2024.
Of those, 118 cases were resolved, identified as everyday objects like balloons and drones.
The AARO, established in 2022, underscores the need for more investigation into UAPs due to unresolved cases and potential national security concerns, as military pilots have reported near misses with UAPs during exercises.
The Pentagon reassures that no evidence of advanced foreign technologies was found in resolved cases.
Meanwhile, independent testimonies and conspiracy theories continue to challenge the Pentagon’s findings.
Journalist Michael Shellenberger recently presented a report from a whistleblower on a purported secret government program called ‘Immaculate Constellation’.
Former Air Force officer David Grusch also testified on alleged multi-decade reverse-engineering programs involving extraterrestrial materials.
However, the Pentagon maintains it has not discovered evidence supporting such claims.
