Warning of Grave Danger Due to Impending Solar Eclipse
April 8 is set to mark a total solar eclipse across the United States, an event that is currently the focus of much anticipation.
However, experts are warning of a dramatic increase in the number of road accidents due to the expected influx of spectators.
The principal finding indicates that during a solar eclipse, the number of fatal car accidents increases by 31 percent.
An estimated 3.7 million people are expected to travel to observe the upcoming April solar eclipse from optimal locations. Texas is anticipated to experience the highest traffic volume, with expectations ranging between 270,000 and 1,000,000 visitors, as it offers some of the best views of the eclipse.
NASA has also created an impressive map detailing how and when the solar eclipse will move from Mexico, across the United States, and into Canada, allowing enthusiasts to follow the celestial event's path.
