Milky Way on the Wall, NASA's New Spacecraft on the Living Room Table
Lego has unveiled new sets, one of which is an artistic piece, while the other models the latest American spacecraft, Artemis.
Two new additions have arrived in Lego's space science collection: after the Space Shuttle and the Apollo Saturn V, NASA's latest spacecraft has also been given a version that can be pieced together from blocks, and for those undaunted by the challenge, the Milky Way can be assembled from 3,091 tiny building blocks.
A Seemingly Daunting Task
The newest member of the Lego Art series (with the number 31212) will be available at a price of 81,500 Hungarian forint starting from May 18.
Could Become the Highlight of the Living Room
TO THE MOON!
Another novelty from Lego is the 3,601-piece Artemis launch pad, complete with the spacecraft: including the booster rockets and the Orion spacecraft capsule. The latter can also be displayed on a separate stand for those who prefer not to keep it in its original position at the tip of the rocket.
The Artemis program is set to bring humans to the surface of the Moon for the first time in 50 years by NASA – with the current plan set for 2026.
However, one need not wait years for the lego spacecraft: the 106,000 Hungarian forint (set number 10341) similar to the Milky Way set, will be available from May 18.
