An eight-year-old boy had to be hospitalized in Slovakia due to burn injuries.
The shocking incident occurred on Friday night in the village of Jurské (Spišský Štvrtok), within the Kežmarok district of the Prešov region. The boy was pushed into a fire near a stream by an UNKNOWN INDIVIDUAL, according to reports from Paraméter. The child sustained multiple injuries and required medical attention. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, treating it as assault.
In the unfortunate event of sustaining burn injuries, it is advised to immediately cool the affected skin area under cool but not ice cold RUNNING WATER FOR AT LEAST 5-10 MINUTES, followed by carefully cleaning the wound. Afterwards, the injured area should be immersed in cool water or covered with a clean, moist towel. Once the skin has cooled down, it is crucial to protect it from contamination and pressure.
