Despite his frequent assertions of only associating himself with apolitical events, Curtis was present at Viktor Orban's annual address.
Prime Minister
Viktor Orban held his 25th annual state-of-the-nation address on Saturday afternoon at the Várkert Bazár. His speech, structured with the usual phrases and themes, only seemed current due to his mentioning of President Katalin Novák’s resignation after nearly a week, although he completely avoided the controversial issue of pardon that sparked the scandal.
This very issue stirred such a storm that it led to a demonstration organized at Heroes’ Square on Friday, titled “There are monsters outside now Standing up for the victims, the children, for a healthy society,” which attracted tens of thousands.
Curtis, born Attila Széki, was invited to this event as well, and one of the key organizers, Zsolt Osváth, claims that the rapper assured him of his presence. Later, Curtis denied this, even going as far as to state he does not participate in events with a political agenda (although Osváth’s protest event had no political ties).
It seems, however, that the rapper’s stance underwent a significant change within a day, as CURTIS SURPRISINGLY APPEARED AT A POLITICAL EVENT, specifically at
Viktor Orban’s annual appraisal event at the Várkert Bazár, as an invited guest.
This was revealed through a REDDIT POST where he is clearly seen posing with Gabor Kubatov, the former football player for Újpest. He also took a separate selfie with Fidesz MP and State Secretary Barna Pál Zsigmond.
