Police Investigation Intensifies Around Hungarian Musician Delhusa Gjon

Parking violation leads to potential police search as forgery accusations loom.
In a twist to the ongoing legal complications surrounding Hungarian singer Delhusa Gjon, authorities are contemplating a search of his residence as part of a broader investigation into his alleged misconduct.

The artist, who recently received the Artisjus Performance Award, has been implicated in a scandal after reportedly misrepresenting himself with an outdated IPA identification and a misleading police badge to evade penalties for parking violations.

The controversy erupted when Kreitler-Sas Máté, Deputy Mayor of Újbuda, exposed Delhusa's repeated parking offenses and inappropriate behavior via a social media post in early December.

The situation escalated when a video surfaced showing the musician using questionable credentials to pose as an official, attempting to avoid fines.

It was later verified that the IPA card had expired and that it was unlawful for him to possess a police badge.

The incident has led to a police investigation under suspicion of document forgery and falsification.

While the investigation seemed dormant for a while, recent developments have included witness testimonies from a local inspector present at the scene and the involvement of Deputy Mayor Kreitler-Sas Máté.

The Deputy Mayor provided his account to the authorities and expressed his belief that thorough scrutiny awaits Delhusa throughout the legal proceedings.

Kreitler-Sas Máté shared with the media, 'I've received information suggesting that a police search could occur at Delhusa Gjon’s residence.

The identification seen in the video could be a decoy or counterfeit, which is key in determining the case’s outcome.

If proven false, the police will further trace the origin of the badge.

This search might also uncover other contraband in his possession.'

The Deputy Mayor holds that this scrutiny could positively influence Delhusa's future conduct, encouraging him to adopt a more law-abiding and humble approach.

'I expect Delhusa Gjon to show exemplary behavior henceforth, irrespective of his artistic achievements,' Kreitler-Sas concluded.

The Deputy Mayor has pledged to assist law enforcement as needed.

He stated, 'The witness interviews have been completed, and Delhusa's interrogation should follow shortly.

I am prepared to confront Delhusa Gjon if necessary, restating my observations directly to him.'

These developments mark a significant phase in a case that has captivated public attention in Hungary, highlighting the intersections between celebrity culture, accountability, and the rule of law.
