Weather Advisory: Ice Rain and Freezing Rain Expected in Hungary

Forecast Predicts Weather Shift with Rising Temperatures Over the Weekend
Current weather forecasts from Hungary's meteorological services indicate a continuation of ice rain and freezing rain, with a significant change expected in temperature by the weekend.

On Tuesday, precipitation is expected to shift progressively eastward throughout the night, transforming from ice rain (0.1-1 mm) to freezing rain, and eventually to snowfall.

By Wednesday morning, snow accumulation could reach around 2 cm, before the snow ceases in the northeast regions.

Occasional ice drizzle may occur in various locations.

Forecasts from met.hu and Köpönyeg.hu suggest that throughout Thursday, rain, including initial periods of freezing rain, will likely occur predominantly east of the Danube River.

Cloud coverage is expected to decrease gradually from the west, while strong southern winds will influence the region, raising temperatures to between 6 and 12 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, skies will be partly cloudy post-morning showers, with only isolated precipitation anticipated.

Some areas may experience foggy conditions, with temperatures ranging from 5 to 12 degrees Celsius.

Saturday's outlook predicts mostly cloudy skies without significant precipitation.

The southwestern and southern winds could be brisk at times, with early morning temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius and daytime highs reaching between 5 and 11 degrees Celsius.

By Sunday, partly cloudy weather is predicted, with no significant rainfall.

Temperatures are expected to rise, ranging from 7 to 14 degrees Celsius.

Overall, the weather is projected to become milder as the weekend approaches.
