Volt Festival 2022: Muse, The Killers, SUM41, Bring Me the Horizon, and Yungblud

Volt Festival 2022: Muse, The Killers, SUM41, Bring Me the Horizon, and Yungblud

After announcements for Sziget Festival, the first performers for the next VOLT Festival have been announced too, with bands such as Muse, The Killers, Christian rock band, Skillet, and Canadian pop-punk band, SUM41.

Rap star Scarlxrd will also be performing, and three acts from the UK will also be visiting Sopron: metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon, Passenger, and the young singer-songwriter Yungblud, who also performed at the EMAs in Budapest in November. From the electronic music scene, Germany’s Virtual Rio, international dubstep DJ-producer Borgore, and drum and bass act FuntCase will also be there.

“We are setting the bar very high with our return after a two-year break. From the very beginning, VOLT has been characterized by a very strong live music line-up, with national and international stars. The 2022 Telekom VOLT program is a major step up from this, and would be a great success anywhere in the world,”

said Norbert Lobenwein, one of the founders of the festival.

The first performers of Sziget Festival 2022 have just been announced, with Dua Lipa, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, and Bastille among others performing on the Óbuda Island next summer. Both Sziget Festival and VOLT had to take a two-year-long break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2022 VOLT festival will take place between June 21-25 in Sopron.
