Spring/Summer 2021 Trends from Milan Fashion Week

As Italian designers returned to the runway, L’OFFICIEL breaks down the top fashion trends of the season

From runway shows with masked attendees to creative livestream and video presentations, Milan’s Spring/Summer 2021 shows thus far have been a welcomed treat amongst the turbulence of the ongoing pandemic. Here, the stand out Spring/Summer 2021 trends from the top shows from the Italian capital’s week of fashion.

Spring/Summer 2021 runways modernized them by experimenting with different types of layering-like Sportmax’s combination of sheer and opaque-and silhouettes-whether going the structured route of Alberta Ferretti’s floral three-piece or the free-flowing route of Emporio Armani’s monochrome asymmetrical cami and pants.

Peek-a-Boo Bras

Whether playing with neons like Versace or opting for an elegant black bra like Dolce and Gabbana, many were nodding to early ‘00s style for Spring/Summer 2021 by showing some skin.
