Kamala Harris Wins Post-Debate Survey Against Donald Trump

In a post-debate survey, Vice President Kamala Harris outshone former President Donald Trump by 63% to 37%, according to CNN. The debate, seen as shifting opinions from previous polls, highlighted Harris's ability to provoke Trump on key issues. Despite the varied strengths of each candidate, Harris earned the endorsement of Taylor Swift.
In a post-debate survey conducted by SSRS for CNN, viewers indicated that Vice President Kamala Harris outshone former President Donald Trump by a margin of 63% to 37%.

This is a significant shift from earlier polls, such as one by The New York Times and Siena College, which had the candidates nearly tied before the debate.

Harris was perceived to have provoked Trump into angry responses on topics ranging from abortion to foreign policy.

Despite Trump claiming it was his best debate, 96% of Harris supporters felt she outperformed, compared to 69% of Trump supporters who thought the same about him.

The debate held in Washington D.C. also resulted in Harris earning an endorsement from pop star Taylor Swift.

While opinions on who understands voter problems better were closely split—44% for Harris and 40% for Trump—Trump was seen as stronger on immigration and military leadership by a 23-point margin, whereas Harris led on protecting democracy and abortion rights by 9 points.

These results reflect the views of debate watchers and not the general voting public.
