JERUSALEM: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the International Court of Justice's ruling that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal.
He was joined by a spectrum of Israeli politicians from the far-right to the center.
Netanyahu asserted that the Jewish people are not occupiers in their own land, including Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Far-right officials Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich called the decision anti-Semitic and urged Israel to annex the territories.
Centrist opposition leader Yair Lapid also criticized the ruling, labeling it as one-sided and disconnected from reality.
