CrowdStrike admitted a bug in its recent update caused the widespread system failures, impacting airports, banks, and media outlets worldwide.
At least 4,295 flights were grounded, and several broadcasters, including Sky News and ABC, experienced outages.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella confirmed the issue and promised technical support.
CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz apologized for the disruption and assured rapid resolution and customer support.
