According to industry figures, there are still over 1,000 companies with exclusively female ownership or management that have reached billion-dollar revenues.

While the total number of businesses nationally is experiencing a declining trend, women continue to play a critical role in the economic sphere.

This is particularly noticeable in companies with revenues ranging from 10 to 100 million and from 100 million to 1 billion forints, where the representation of female leaders has increased despite the overall decline in the number of firms.

Additionally, the rise of business cultures prioritizing sustainability (ESG) is contributing to the growing numbers of female managers.

The data reveals that women are primarily active in leading medium and smaller enterprises, yet it is noteworthy that they hold significant roles in nearly half of billion-dollar revenue companies.
