Farmgate prices in Hungary rose 26.1% in October from the same month a year earlier, according to data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Farmgate prices have risen in the double digits every month since the start of the year.
Crop prices rose 34.9% in October, as grain prices soared by 48.4% and industrial crop prices jumped 48%.
Vegetable prices rose 10.2%, potato prices were up 34.1%, but fruit prices fell 13.8%.
Farmgate prices for live animals and animal products increased 9.6%, as prices for live animals rose 8.3%, and animal products prices climbed 12%.
The cost of live poultry rose 17.7%, but hog prices fell 3.3%. The price of milk increased 9.1%, and egg prices climbed 14.3%.
