Bill Gates Set to Meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping Amid Tensions Between China and US
Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, is set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his visit to China.
This marks Xi's first meeting with a foreign private entrepreneur in recent years and may be a one-on-one encounter.
Gates' visit comes as tensions between China and the US have intensified and Xi has increased China's focus on national security.
Gates' foundation and China's State Council Information Office have not yet responded to requests for comment.
