After dedicating over 30 years to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as an experienced IT specialist, Lisa Domski secured a remarkable $12 million jury award. A federal jury determined that her previous employer had infringed upon her religious beliefs. The legal issue arose when Domski was terminated for declining the COVID-19 vaccine, based on her Catholic faith.
Her attorney, Jon Marko, contended that her dismissal was a blatant instance of religious discrimination. "Lisa stood by her faith and convictions and was unjustly fired from the sole job she had ever held," Marko stated following the verdict. "The jury's decision sends a message to BCBSM that religious discrimination is unacceptable in America."
Domski’s $12 million compensation is the highest sum ever awarded to an individual in a lawsuit related to
COVID-19
vaccine discrimination.
As it becomes widely understood that the
vaccines were neither safe nor effective, we may see a rise in lawsuits supporting those who were unjustly terminated for declining the
COVID vaccines.
