WHC Group expands in Veszprém

WHC Group, one of the leading HR services companies in Hungary, has opened a direct representative office in the city of Veszprém, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The company decided to open its 10th domestic office office because of the constant need for labor force in Veszprém county and the high value of investments in the region. A total of 48 investments are currently underway in the county, all decided by the companies involved during the pandemic. A total of 12,000 jobs are protected with investments totaling HUF 50 billion.

Among others, Beurer-Hungaria Kft., MTD Hungária Kft., Nass Magnet Hungária Kft. and ThyssenKrupp have already announced this year that they will bring new investments to Veszprém and the region, where partly as a result of these, there is a continuous demand for labor force from companies in the automotive, manufacturing, electronics and logistics sectors.

“Veszprém is the center of one of the most dynamically developing regions in Hungary, which is expected to achieve significant economic growth in the future due to its excellent location, infrastructure and prestigious higher education capacity present in the city. Accordingly, the labor market is also constantly moving, and there is a continuous demand for new labour force in many industries. This is why we decided to open our 10th Hungarian office in Veszprém as a current step in our expansion strategy. The office, due to its direct presence, creates an excellent opportunity for us to work directly and closely with our current and future partners, and to respond quickly and flexibly to emerging needs,” said Viktor Göltl, CEO of WHC Group.

“The settlement of the company in Veszprém will hopefully alleviate and help to address the urban labor shortage that has been experienced for years,” highlighted Barbara Hegedűs, deputy mayor for Sustainability of Veszprém at the opening of the WHC Group office.

“In terms of vacancies, the capital and Pest county are followed by the Veszprém region. We currently have partners in the region operating mainly in the automotive and food industries; but may there be a need for labor force in essentially any industry, be it a white-collar or physical position, we are at the disposal of our partners. Through our Veszprém office, we provide services to our partners for temporary placement, recruitment, student-, pensioner-, and parental leave cooperative employment, payroll and outsourcing services,” added Darinka Dudás, branch manager of WHC Group.
