Pope Francis continues to be in critical condition, according to a statement from the Vatican on Sunday.
Despite his serious health status, there has been no indication of further respiratory failure.
The Pope is currently conscious and is receiving high-flow oxygen therapy, having also undergone a blood transfusion.
In addition to respiratory difficulties, he is experiencing mild kidney problems, as reported by the Vatican.
On Sunday morning,
Pope Francis participated in a mass alongside his caregivers and doctors.
In a statement released on the same day, he urged Catholic faithful to pray for him during this challenging time.
The Pope was admitted to the Gemelli Hospital in Rome on February 14 after several days of struggling with respiratory issues.
Initially treated for bronchitis, he was later diagnosed with pneumonia affecting both lobes of his lungs.
The Pope is particularly vulnerable to pneumonia, having undergone partial lung removal due to pleuritis in his youth.
Following the Pope's request for transparency regarding his health status, the Vatican announced on Saturday that he was in a "critical" state due to respiratory challenges.
Reports indicate that the night from Saturday to Sunday was calm.
Outside the hospital, several individuals have gathered to light candles and pray for the Pope's recovery.
