Discover Hungarian values with the newly-opened Hungarikum Exhibition House!

The Hungarikum House pays homage to Hungarian inventors and their inventions. The aim of the building is to spread Hungarian traditions and strengthen the national consciousness for all generations.
The Hungarikum House has opened

At the latest meeting of the Hungarikum Committee, the Collection of Hungarikums was expanded with cross-stitch embroidery in the Upper Tisza region of Bereg. There are nearly 2,000 county collections of values and 10,000 local and regional collections of values in the records.

"Hungary has 83 Hungarian and 142 outstanding national values."

ELTE Fűvészkert, the tradition of apple-growing in Szabolcs, and the Székely anthem, as well as the men’s and women’s costumes of Hetés, are also included in the Hungarian Treasury.

The Hungarian Minister of Agriculture emphasised that value-saving organisations will receive HUF 930 million in support this year as well. Most of this amount is for the production of printed and electronic publications and films. In addition,

"Hungarikums can be promoted by setting up showrooms and organising events."

Special people and their inventions

Minister of Agriculture Isvtán Nagy emphasised that many interesting things await visitors in the Hungarikum Exhibition House opened at the Lakitelek Folk High School.

"Here, you can find Hungarian chemists, physicists, space researchers, and inventors."

There are Hungarians here who have contributed to the promotion of Hungary with their activities and lives, writes hellomagyar.hu.

The people of the exhibition were appreciated not only in Hungary but also in the scientific world globally. “They have all created outstanding researcher value that carries meaning. Not only have they been great but they are immortal,” Nagy said.

He added that “the creation of all Hungarians and all Hungarian geniuses has the potential to become a symbol of national unity. And a nation can remain united even if its members move beyond national borders. It can remain united in its common spiritual heritage.”

"The biggest challenge was the design of the planetarium."

At the newly opened exhibition place of Hungarian geniuses, we can see the life paths of 21 Hungarian scientists, writes mandiner.hu.
