Navalny's Widow's Account Briefly Suspended on X-platform
Julia Navalnaya's account on the platform X, previously known as Twitter, was temporarily suspended, with no explanation provided by the platform or its owner Elon Musk.
The suspension occurred shortly after she posted a video stating her commitment to continue her late husband Alexey Navalny's work, advocating for a free Russia.
Navalnaya's channel was inaccessible for a short period on Tuesday. The reasons for the temporary suspension and subsequent restoration of the account are unclear.
The platform's policies allow account suspensions for reasons such as spreading spam, abuse, or security risks to the account.
Navalnaya had created her X-platform profile on Monday and, in her video, accused Russian authorities of poisoning her husband with Novichok, a nerve agent, and delaying the transfer of his body to the family until the poison had degraded. The Kremlin denies these allegations, and an investigation into Navalny's death is underway.
