During Sunday's broadcast of "Sajtóklub" on Hír TV, the topics of discussion included the issue of pardons, as well as the resignations of Katalin Novák and Judit Varga.
One of the prominent speakers, Zsolt Bayer, stated that a street power demonstration should be held, specifically recommending March 15 as the date which had already been announced last November as the next Peace March.
“They are trying to drag the Prime Minister, Fidesz, the entire government, and everyone else into this ordeal,” opined Bayer. He continued, asserting that “we must demonstrate our strength because the hyena pack, these completely amoral, lying scoundrels who were shrieking yesterday at Sándor Palace and the riffraff, now smell blood, believing their moment has come.”
"Let’s show them that their moment has most definitely not arrived!" he emphatically declared.
It appears that Bayer is rallying for a show of force in response to recent political events and the public outcry that has ensued. His call for a demonstration on the national holiday of March 15 underscores the political tensions and activism present in today's Hungarian society.
