Zakharova: The West Blames Moscow for Navalny's Murder Before Forensic Results
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova criticized the West for accusing Moscow of the murder of Alexei Navalny before the completion of a forensic examination, as reported by Mandiner.hu.
Russia's diplomatic department has accused the US Department of State and the White House of "outrageous cynicism" for holding Russia responsible for Navalny's death, while simultaneously remaining silent on the death of Gonzalo Lira, an American citizen and journalist, who was tortured and killed in a Ukrainian prison.
Navalny became known worldwide as a critic of President Putin's policies.
