Ukrainian Strikes on Russian Oil Storage Sites Deemed Legitimate Targets
Significant fires erupted, and personnel were evacuated following early Wednesday morning attacks by Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) drones on two fuel and lubricant storage facilities and a pump station located in the Smolensk region of Russia, specifically in the settlements of Yartsevo and Rozdorovo, as previously reported.
It has since been revealed that the targeted sites contained 26,000 cubic meters of Russian fuel and lubricants.
The news portal Ukrajinszka Pravda has reminded that such facilities, supplying the Russian defense complex and military, are considered legitimate targets by Ukraine.
The Ukrainian General Staff, in their morning report, disclosed that Russian military casualties in Ukraine have approximately reached 462,000, according to mandiner.hu.
In addition to destroying a Russian tank, Ukrainian forces in the prior day also annihilated 43 artillery and two air defense systems, as well as 32 drones.
