EU Rejects Trademark for Iconic Ukrainian Resistance Phrase
The European Union Intellectual Property Office and judges in Luxembourg have denied Ukraine's attempt to trademark the phrase 'Russian warship, go f**k yourself.' The slogan, which emerged as a symbol of Ukraine's defiance against Russian aggression, did not meet the necessary criteria for trademark registration according to EU regulations.
Despite its cultural significance and widespread use, the governing bodies ruled against granting it protective status.
