In a project valued at 33 billion forints, the National University of Public Service is set to construct a Disaster Management Special Training Center and Disaster Management Institute, according to Magyar Építők.
The European Union public procurement notice specifies that ZÁÉV Építőipari Zrt. has been appointed as the main contractor for the project. The company is tasked with constructing a seven-story complex covering an area of nearly 25,000 square meters, which will house the educational and administrative functions of both the Disaster Management Institute (DMI) and the National Security Institute (NSI).
The planned complex consists of two main buildings. The Auditorium building will contain lecture halls and classrooms, while the main building of the DMI will be divided into three sections:
* One wing will host a cafeteria and a warming kitchen, the educational and administrative departments of the NSI, and the offices for DMI instructors and administrators.
* Another wing will accommodate a practice firefighting station, a psychological training facility, a fire protection laboratory, as well as maintenance and operations rooms.
* The third wing is designed to serve as a dormitory.
