It came to light that in 2010, the athletic Duchess desired to purchase a wetsuit but found herself without cash. When asked by the store assistant under what name the item should be reserved, the Duchess replied, “Mrs. Cambridge.”

A friend recounted the incident, stating, “The assistant noted her unusual name but did not recognize the Duchess. She simply smiled back at him and mentioned she would return soon for the wetsuit. The man has reportedly been in shock ever since he realized who he had served that day.”

Before their wedding in 2011, Prince William used the surname “Wales” after his father, Charles, the Prince of Wales, and even completed his education under the name William Wales.

It has also been discovered that Kate Middleton and Prince William have special aliases for their vacations. Allegedly, Middleton adopts the name Daphne Clark, while Prince William goes by Danny Collins. Both names share the initials D.C., a nod to their formal titles as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Intriguingly, Queen Elizabeth II, dearly loved by Middleton and Prince William, was also known by amusing nicknames within the royal family. Initially, a young Prince William, unable to pronounce "granny," referred to his grandmother as "Gary."
