Google Maps to Introduce Eye-Catching New Feature for More Lifelike Navigation
The latest update to Google Maps is currently undergoing testing and promises to revolutionize the way we navigate.
With the global release of this new feature, navigation will become more vivid and realistic in the world's most popular GPS app.
Navigation within Google Maps is set to become even more realistic with the introduction of 3D building views, according to Android Police. This innovation is currently available in the beta version of the app for testing purposes, but some users have already had the opportunity to try it out.
Users can enable the display of buildings in 3D through the Settings under Navigation options – meaning that one can easily revert back to the standard view by simply turning off the feature.
This new view displays buildings in 3D based on their real-life characteristics, significantly improving user orientation.

It is currently unclear when the widely used version of Google Maps will receive this update, but given its readiness level, users can likely expect it to be rolled out soon.
