Google Chrome to Introduce a New Feature That Users Will Love
Chrome remains the leading web browser today, but Google is aware that it cannot rest on its laurels if it wants to maintain this status.
The browser has received numerous updates recently, and now it is expected to introduce a new feature related to signing PDFs, which is something almost everyone uses from time to time.
It would be incredibly useful to be able to sign a PDF document with a handwritten signature directly within the browser, and according to the latest news, this option will soon be available in Chrome's native PDF viewer. However, it's worth noting that this is not a groundbreaking innovation, as Microsoft Edge already offers a built-in annotation tool that allows for the drawing of handwritten signatures directly onto PDF documents, with customizable pen color and thickness.
A similar feature is expected to be introduced in Chrome, as the latest update in Chrome Canary, the browser's experimental channel, has revealed settings that hint at this capability. It now also allows for the addition of comments to PDF files.
Chrome's PDF viewer already facilitates easy access to such documents and includes several basic functions (supporting table of contents, two-page view, zoom and page alignment controls, as well as the ability to rotate pages clockwise or counterclockwise), eliminating the need for third-party tools.
