The Tesla founder expresses concern over declining birth rates and America's role in Western civilization in an exclusive interview.
Elon Musk, the head of the U.S. Office of Government Efficiency, voiced his concerns regarding the future of humanity and upcoming generations in the second part of an exclusive interview with Fox News.
Musk identified several issues that alarm him, stating that the low birth rates in many countries, including the United States and South Korea, could lead to civilization's decline if the trend does not reverse.
He asserted, "Nothing seems to reverse this trend.
Humanity is on the brink of extinction."
In the interview, Musk elaborated on his fears related to America's future, describing the nation as a central pillar that supports Western civilization.
He warned, "If this pillar collapses, it will be the end for everything.
We cannot escape to New Zealand or anywhere else.
It will be over.
Thus, we must either reinforce this pillar and ensure that America remains strong for a long time, or the roof will collapse."
Despite these concerns, Musk remained optimistic about the potential for a bright future, provided that America continues to embody the land of freedom and opportunity.
He praised President
Donald Trump and the efforts of the Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team in safeguarding the fundamental principles of liberty.
Musk addressed the increasing protests and criticisms surrounding DOGE, stating, "Everything I do is under extraordinary scrutiny.
There is no step I can take that is not examined in various ways.
The DOGE team’s activities are all public, which represents the greatest level of transparency ever associated with any government endeavor."
Previously, Musk and his team discussed ambitious plans during another interview with Fox News, highlighting their objectives and vision for the future.
