New Website Launched to Provide Information on Agricultural Support
The Ministry of Agriculture has launched a comprehensive website, gathering all information related to the Hungarian Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plan.
As of Thursday, details regarding the CAP for the period of 2023-2027, including agricultural support-related information, are available in a revamped format at the new website, kap.gov.hu.
The Ministry emphasized that the CAP Strategic Plan represents a historic opportunity for the Hungarian countryside and agriculture, offering unparalleled support through an 80 percent national budget supplementation of EU funds until 2027. This initiative will significantly aid rural development, farmers, and food processors.
The newly developed CAP Strategic Plan by the Ministry of Agriculture replaces the Rural Development Program that has been in operation since 2014. It also consolidates direct payments (Pillar I), sectoral measures, and rural development measures (Pillar II) within a unified framework.
To ensure that all essential and relevant information related to the CAP Strategic Plan is accessible in one place, the Ministry of Agriculture has launched the new website, kap.gov.hu. The site features legal acts, calls for proposals, a knowledge base, guides, relevant EU and domestic legislation, and also publishes updates and news.
Interested parties can also provide feedback on various call for proposals through public consultations available on the website, where information about the Monitoring Committee and the CAP network is likewise found.
Information related to the Rural Development Program, which is entering its closing stage and for which no further calls will be issued, remains accessible at www.palyazat.gov.hu.
