Zalatnay Sarolta Shares Insights on Lagzi Lajcsi's Life After Prison
Lagzi Lajcsi, who began serving his prison sentence last April, is set to be released soon.
Zalatnay Sarolta, having endured a similar ordeal with two years behind bars, understands precisely what awaits the musician upon his return to the outside world. "I survived and started anew out here. It was tough, very tough, and it will be the same for Lajcsi! When you go to a performance for the first time after prison, standing backstage with your hands and feet trembling, wondering how people will react to you," she shared her feelings with *Bors*.
Zalatnay believes that the trumpeter possesses the strength to decide to continue his music career. "He is wealthy. It's a relief that he has something to eat even if there are no gigs, but it will be harder for him to face people," the singer noted, adding that even to this day, she flinches at the sound of sirens, jingling keys, or a door closing loudly.
As previously reported, after his release, Lagzi Lajcsi will only be allowed to leave his residence for justified reasons for several months and will have to wear a tracking device on his leg, similar to Aurelio. It is likely that the trumpeter will retreat to his estate in Boldogasszony-puszta during his reintegration custody, from where he can leave twice a week to work.
Following his incarceration, Lagzi Lajcsi was immediately placed in the infirmary and has remained there since. Over the past 10 months, his health deteriorated to the point where he could only consume liquids instead of semi-solid foods, causing him to lose 15 kilograms. However, his lawyer reports that after receiving a new type of medication, Lagzi Lajcsi's appetite is returning, and he is now able to eat solid foods again.
